Stocks Drift Before Fed, Trade Talks; Pound Stable: Markets WrapStocks in Asia drifted on Wednesday as the earnings season rolled on and investors awaited the Federal Reserve’s policy meeting. The pound lifted from its lows reached in wake of lawmakers’ vote to renegotiate the Brexit withdrawal agreement with Brussels. Stocks in Japan slid, while they rose in South Korea and Australia, and fluctuated in narrow ranges elsewhere.

'The Walking Dead' will return for Season 9 with a familiar face as the new showrunner

Scott M. Gimple is out (sort of), Angela Kang is in. The Walking Dead will return for a ninth season with Kang, a writer on the show since Season 2, occupying the showrunner's seat. She's the series first female showrunner, following Gimple, Glen Mazzara, and Frank Darabont.
