Iran's rial hits record-low 100,000 to the dollarIran's currency hit a record low on Sunday of 100,000 rials to the dollar amid a deepening economic crisis and the imminent return of full US sanctions. The rial has lost half its value against the dollar in just four months, having broken through the 50,000-mark for the first time in March.

'The Walking Dead' will return for Season 9 with a familiar face as the new showrunner

Scott M. Gimple is out (sort of), Angela Kang is in. The Walking Dead will return for a ninth season with Kang, a writer on the show since Season 2, occupying the showrunner's seat. She's the series first female showrunner, following Gimple, Glen Mazzara, and Frank Darabont.
